Good to know you Imran. I am afraid that Canadian embassy in Islamabad is not fully functional and they have moved all unnecessary staff out of Pakistan. It may take a while to get the documents verified and security clearance etc.

I got the email for further processing / submission of documents (approval) today. Interestingly the charge hasn't posted on the credit card as yet.

You are not the only one. My application was mailed through USPS registered mail on September 18th from Connecticut still no response niether any charge on the credit card..... My brother applied from PAkistan and he thinks that we should contact them if there is nop response for 3 months. :'(
