Apologies... I was just telling Jig that I am also four months in waiting...only its the Passport Request instead of the VISA issuance. Also said that its difficult to make decisions as I don't want to rush things. Was also asking him for tips on finding work if ever as we have the same NOC...

thanks for that ndpadin. in that case, we are already 187 days away from the expiry of our medicals. It leaves us about 17 days buffer time to receive updates from CEM on our passport request and for them to return it to us to be inside the statistic. I guess our case would be an exception if...

clarification po....ano po ba ang expiry nung medicals? yun po bang date when you first had your medicals or yun date when you completed the medicals? ang alam ko kasi dati it is the date of the medical request..... in our case our letter was dated September 28, 2010. We had our initial medical...

heard from the grapevine that indeed it is because of the cut-off that things slowed down. I think they reached 2010 targets early hence "brakes" had to be applied for the next batch. with this trend, the 2011 batch could easily be filled in as well. hopefully all goes well.

wow! so they probably are feeling the pressure ..... i guess with so many in the pipeline, they would easily fill-in their 2011 quotas (again), hitting those doing their medicals by the end of this year as well. the cycle will probably continue until the policy changes. good luck to all of us. rich
