September 2018 AOR - join here

A minute of cold reality: 4 days since Monday night, 40 AOR & MP of 2018 (41 actually) became PPRs since then, 820 to go. (I'm talking only about those who kindly shared their status on myimmitracker.) Which suggests that about 82 days are remaining for 2018. Well, at least in 2-3 months...

I am in no way an expert in EE. From what I read on this forum and from explanations about GCMS notes, it looks like before disclosing your notes to you they must get reviewed, which in some cases might be helpful to propel your case. That's all I know and I can't guarantee the veracity of...

I understand your frustration (my AOR is September 11), but this https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/consolidated-e-apr-tracker-express-entry-permanent-residency-application/analytics/statuses-by-months-of-submission suggests that they are processing applications, slowly but surely. A...

US based residents who moved to ip2 and no progress further. Let us connect here.

Just curious - what do you do to nudge them? We are in a similar boat - no visible movement since October 2018, but we issue CSEs at least once a month and recently I ordered GCMS notes. At least we got "Application is awaiting the review of an agent."

It's kinda encouraging to see that now only 90 applications with AOR in September 2018 are pending on MyImmiTracker. A week or two ago there were 100+.

Man, your case is brutal. But... did you try all options? How about hiring a lawyer? Did you call IRCC to ask about what's wrong with the form? Also - why not apply for a temporary work visa in the meantime?

Theoretically - yes, that would be possible, but look at the other months of the year 2018 (January to August) - seems like everyone actually bothered to update their statuses. :)...

Now you are the lucky one! I called CIC 10 times and they were either busy to begin the call, or they said goodbye "due to the high volume of calls". Good to know about the end of June!

Longer than 8 months, actually. :) Yep - someone had to make it into the 20% statistics, so it happened to be us. :)

PPR to COPR Journey - PPR in JAN/FEB-19

My question was not about who and how can visit Canada. Of course you can travel to Canada all you want if you have a tourist visa or you are from a visa-exempt country (and you either have eTA or you don't need it). My question was - is it possible to not leave Canada once you get the PPR...

PPR to COPR Journey - PPR in JAN/FEB-19

Thank you for your reply. Sorry, let me make sure I understand it. Are you saying, apart from the PPR possibly taking more than 6 months, this plan should work? People can just ask IRCC to switch to the nearest Canadian visa office (and thus switch from visitors to permanent residents...
