I sent the forms, pcc and proof of marriage on 5th oct 2011. I emailed chc 2 days ago and the reply is my file is in initial review !!!! How come its possible ? Can anyone plz tell . Thx

hello Resham, do you know any reason why ur case is in interview queue ? is ur nikah only case or is this within family marriage ? or ur husband has lived outside pakistan for long ?

@humpakwatan, do you think that interview are conducted only to check marriage genuineness or there can be any reason to call for an interview ?

no these days its taking around 2-3 months. my friend got his in 3 months - And if your PR card get lost or stolen. the renewal takes 7 months :( Trust me this whole immigration system is crazy !!!

I haven't applied for CAIPS but i think if they extend the date.. its good news.. you will get PPR soon .... if i am not wrong same thing happened with 1-2-4 guy here. Good luck !!

No i don't think so, you should get PPR very soon.. your case is pretty straight forward..... and trust me the online status has nothing do with the actual progress, I remember when i landed... I checked my status after like 2 months and it was showing "medical received" - So don't worry all...

My wife did medical on 21st sept and it got changed last week i guess. Did u email them ?

hello friends, Ok so the package was received by NASIR on thursday, when do you think i should email CHC-ISL that i have sent them the docs ? should i email in a day or two ? cuz my deadline to submit docs is 15th October please advise.. Thanks

My wife sent the package on 5th October , i checked TCS site and today still the status shows ON HOLD - 6th October 2:00 Do you think there is something wrong ? why it has not been delivered.. i am tensed.. any inputs ?
