I would not submit an online application and wait to hear from them about paper application because applying twice would do more harm than good which puts a layer of confusion and then you would end up waiting more than you actually would.
I don’t think that you can give that reason for urgent processing. You have to have a job offer letter that needs Canadian citizenship in order you to apply for urgent processing.
It must be in process or else it would’ve shown you “in process” on the main page. I think it must be something to do on their end. It could be a glitch in their system?! Don’t worry!
