They told me they cant do anything but ask cic about an update. I saw another thread with tbe same situation last year....it took two months for them to get PPR

Just heard again from my MP office telling me what I already know, that I am approved and we should wait for the email. They mentioned it may take 4-6 weeks, which doesn't make sense because we have been waiting 7 weeks know.

No idea at all....

No news from the MP..they said they will call once they hear back from them.

I know Ivan, I am sure they are not lying. I know that this used to happen before where they transfer the file to the local office of your city and ask for a "Landing interview" where you go on the date specified and do the landing interview. I hope that's the case.

I can't think of any other option because they don't make a decision before the interview.. It is really weird though. She mentioned that my file is here in Edmonton.

Guys, I talked to my MP today after I sent an email and she told me the wierdest thing...she said that they promised her to send me a mail this week asking me to appear in Canada place edmonton and have a quick interview.....tha point here is that I was already approved after DM as per an email...

The funny thing is that I already know I am approved through a reply from Sydney. So, I am not sure now how the MP would help.

Yea there should be some movement this week...especially with MPs involved. Good luck
