I called IRCC and they just said to keep waiting. MY GCMS notes also said application approved. Yesterday...

COPR Details in Application Status Tracker

Just got off the phone with IRCC. They said all stages have been passed since Jan 17th 2023 and all that remains now is the final decision. They said all I can do is just wait for them to reach out to me with the final decision

COPR Details in Application Status Tracker

Since all my stages passed, it's been 2.5 months and no RFV. Maybe that's the final security check they're doing. Although since my Background Verification is complete I thought security was done too. Guess not. COPR number was generated as well but I don't know when that happened. I guess I...

Hey guys, my PR tracker shows all the steps as completed including: biometrics, medical exam, eligibility and background verification. I even have a COPR document number showing on the tracker. I don't know when all this generated because I logged in for the first time on March 23rd. It says...

Go ahead with whatever options you have! But be wary because I’ve heard that students who study in Quebec often have a tough time proving their intention to live outside of Quebec when they apply for express entry. Disregard this if you would go for the Quebec immigration route in this instance.

I can totally attest to everything in this post. The US is incredibly welcoming (while most other English speaking countries « act » more welcoming but are more subtly discriminatory). It’s just that life on an H1-B is not easy.

Not sure if this will affect the CRS score much but the results for the H1-B visa lottery came out over the past few days and lots of highly qualified and experienced professionals who didn’t get selected for the H1-B visa are looking to apply to Canada as their plan B.

For anyone questioning equality... I studied at a US university and my work experience is all American. FSWs have education and work experience from all around the world. It’s ignorant and arrogant to assume that Canadian experience and education trumps all other forms of education and...

Not trying to add fire to the flames between the CEC and FSW argument. But let’s take an « average » FSW candidate: say 29 years old, THREE years work exp and a masters degree with say 8777 IELTS, which gives him/her a score of 469. Now let’s take those same credentials and see how the score...

Hello, sorry if this is not the right place for this query but no one has been able to help on the pre ITA thread. I figured people who have submitted their application could help. I have a question on how to fill the education section in the express entry profile. I got my bachelors degree...

Can someone please help me with a question about the education section? I studied for 1 year at university A, then 1 year at university B and then finally transferred to university C - where I studied for 3.5 years and obtained my bachelor’s degree. So I spent 5.5 years in total for my...
