May I renew the passport to the old name which written in CSQ and send copy to CIC to update? Note we have UCI and have made medical and application recived 14 months ago but no decision made yet Please advice

Do they ask to show the CSQ at the airport ? My wife’s family name in CSQ has one letter less than passport Thanks

my spouse has changed her passport after CSQ and we have applied for fedral stage one year before , she done medical and her UCI according her new passport , the problem is the new passport has one letter more than the older one and CSQ Now visa would not be like CSQ What shall I do ? Thanks
