It is worth doing this ? If your application is DM aug 2021 and just waiting for oath? Passed test in March 2021. Jan 2020 applicant. I am worried that my background may go back to in process after the one year mark comes back around

yeah I agree! It is so unfair. It just stresses me out. They need to have a better system because they will never go through all that backlog! It will just keep piling up!

I don’t think there was much movement from Calgary office this week. Did not see any oath invites on this website or Facebook. So annoying what are they doing… also municipal election is coming up here in Calgary. You’d think they try to process some backlog so people could vote!! What is going...

That’s interesting I don’t get how that is allowed? Like why is the person not returning your file so someone else can do it. That is causing more backlogs!!

That’s what I would assume yeah! Like why isn’t 100 people booked in a day for oaths. They could get through the backlog in 2 months if they did 500 applicants a week. But I heard that some oaths are coming from judges in Winnipeg and other cities. So maybe there more to it then we think

Another one I saw was sept 16th on the tracker so yeah like 4 oaths days for Calgary office so far in sept. I think aug was even worse. But honestly I have no clue how they do the processing all I know is it’s a fucking joke

Another applicant I saw on fb got oath sept 28, there dm was aug 6! Calgary office so hopefully us soon

Background check is only valid for one year. So maybe it’s been to long so they have to re check it

I’m Jan 2020 applicant in Calgary. I got DM on aug 25 but no oath yet. I saw a fellow Calgary applicant also Jan 2020 get invites for oath yesterday so hopefully that means something is happening

I was thinking the same thing. Especially for me my background went complete in Jan 2021 so I’m worried when the one year mark comes around it may make my DM go back to in progress! But fingers crossed we both get oaths before the end the end of year

I agree but in Jan 2020 there is a total of 13 Calgary applicants(on the spreadsheet), 3 are done oaths, let’s say 3-4 don’t follow up on here anymore but the other 7 are active and mad!! As you can tell from creating this forum haha! Calgary is sleeping

I applied Jan 2020, DM aug 25!! So hopefully it’s soon but I’ve seen people waiting 4-5 months for oath so I’m not getting my hopes up.

Also if you look at the 2020 tracker in January, only 3 people have done oath in Calgary. And One of those 3, oath is on sept 16! Like what is Calgary doing!! So mad only 3 people!!!
