I think they sent you scanned copy of IMM 1017 (05-1998)E for your baby. As far as I know you will need the original copy of this form to do medical. So you better wait for the original copy of this form. Others may advise better who completed medical with photocopy/scanned copy..

Congrates..... You dont need to pay landing fee for your new born child but you will have to pay $ 150 as application processing fee for her if you have not paid yet.

They will only check your profile and PP expiry date. But yes you r right it will be better to inform them about your pre-planned visit as...

Inform them that your passport has expired and you already applied for new one, which may take 40 days to get. You will be able to send passport to them after getting the new one. They will allow you the time. Dont worry. Also dont forget to send them the new PP copy as soon as you receive them...

Actually our National ID card does not have any expiry date. What I did: I gave a date adding 50 years with the issue date. and wrote below with a * mark (NO EXPIRY DATE).
