Work Experience for Express Entry - Question

Hi guys, does anyone know if CIC counts your work exprerience by hours or days? What I mean is that on the website they say that you need to have a minimum of 1560 hours of work experience which equals 12 month of full time work. But what if I worked overtime and have accumulated 1560 hours in...

Complicated case - looking for the BEST lawyer!

I won't be applying simultaneously, I will apply for a study permit now and wait until it's approved. By that time I will hopefully have LMIA and will submit my PR Express Entry application. Sorry I didn't make it clear in the original post :)

Complicated case - looking for the BEST lawyer!

Hi everyone! I am planning to apply for a study permit and PR through Express Entry. However, I have previously overstayed in Canada so I need a good lawyer who specializes in complicated cases and who has a good success rate. Please, post the names of good lawyers/law firms down below. I am...

Applying for a study permit after an overstay.

Thank you for your help! I will apply for the study permit anyway just in case it's approved but will focus on obtaining LMIA and applying for PR. And, of course I am going to be honest in my application. Thanks again :)

Applying for a study permit after an overstay.

And does anyone know/used the services of Bellissimo Law Group? They take a lot of cases where people overstayed or are medically/criminally inadmissible and had several prior refusals and their success/approval rate is very high! Sounds like it's too good to be true :D

Applying for a study permit after an overstay.

Thank you for your reply Scylla. If I apply for a study permit and get rejected can I then apply for a PR? What I mean is would an overstay affect my PR application? (I have a one year certificate (post secondary ed.); the one that's unfinished is a four year degree, so if I manage to get LMIA...

Applying for a study permit after an overstay.

Also, I was given an advice to provide an affidavit saying that I will not overstay this visa. Is this a good idea? Would it help my case?

Applying for a study permit after an overstay.

Thank you for your reply @PMM. I forgot to mention that I now travel a lot for work (in these 7 months I've been in Europe, Asia, USA and UK). I am also paid very well so it wouldn't make sense for me tp overstay since I wouldn't be able to find any work legally and if I decide to overstay I'd...

Applying for a study permit after an overstay.

Hi everyone! I've read all I could find online on getting a visa to Canada after an overstay and there's a lot of conflicting information out there and it seems like most of it are just speculations. I ask anyone who had a personal experience with this or knows some real life stories about...
