Hi, If for some reason if the application is rejected by CIO or VO and if I strongly believe that is not a valid reason. can I challenge the decision? Do I need to challenge it through a lawyer? If my job category is filled (500 application) will it have an effect in challenging the decision?

Thanks a lot... I was bit concerned because the A/L (or rather AS and A2 in british system) I failed. Later on completed by degree... Also GCE O/L (GCSE in british system) 11 years in my country. Usually 10 in canada, usa, uk and was thinking will they count that 11 years for 10.. thanx a lot.

Still I am waiting for Acknowledgement from CIO However Credit Card has been charged CAD550. So can I assume that the completeness check is done and passed. If the documents are not complete do they still charge???

When the CIC says that the processing is 6-8 months what do they really mean? Do they mean that by end 6-8 months the visa will be issued? or will the medical be called? or anything else?

A person who has 15 years of full-time education in his country with a 2 year bachelors degree. However this person has failed his GCE AL (12 grade) but have attended the college. Will the CIC count for 15 years full-time education or 13 years of full-time education.

Hi, Came across one of my friend who wants to apply; He has a full-time work (41 hours per week) and at the same time full-time studies (18hours per week). Will the CIO count both the work and education for points??? As per my reading they can' t say no; any other experiences?

Application was filed on 5th of July 2011.
