Hi Ojeola, I went it because of the presentation. However to my surprise I came across few people who had actually made a trip to Sydney to submit the application. Especially people from the West.

i did not deliver by hand. i posted it in Sydney. Just next to CIC office you have a Canada Post. Which is a real Canada Post not a Shoppers franchise.

This forum and even the people i knew who applied in a rush seems to be realizing that they have missed many information or made minor or silly mistakes in submitting. I wonder how CIC will pick up on that.

Hi, I remember helping my friend years back. His application was sent and was received in September. However his application got returned in November. The stamp on his application had a date in November. So this 10 June fiasco, which date counts. The date they received the date they opened...

Does the date application reaches CIC matters or the date they open the application. which one matters?

If the application is received on time. Is it enough or does the date they really open the application. which one really counts? I remember helping my friend 2 years back. it was delvered in september and when his application was returned the first page was stamped with a date in november.

do we need to sign the pictures or write the name

When we mail the application; is it ok to just put all the documents inside a priority mail postage cover and send it. or do we need to put it in an envelope and then put it inside the priority mail pack. Do we really need to make it look like what the instruction guide says

Thank you. Personally I think writing the immigration document name or the requested name for the citizenship certificate does not make a difference. However given its CIC, I have seen peoples application been rejected for silly reasons. So its better to get a second opinion before applying
