I can confirm that @Zack14 is correct. I've been so excited seeing multiple (at least 4) different people's posts since the borders reopened on the 7th, saying that they've finally received PPR. One was India, one was Nigeria... can't remember the others. Range was from December 2019 to March...

Yes, it is possible. It is only $5 to do it via a Canadian, where as it's about $20 to do it the other way. But both will result in the same outcome for you. :) Here are two companies from which you can order. Hope that helps! https://www.gcmsbuddy.com https://getgcms.com

But that totals $4,800. :D At those prices, someone should be able to survive for like 9 months with the IRCC-mandated minimum funds.

Oh, yeah. For sure! It's not an ideal situation at all. I really hope the pandemic has fueled the will to move away from paper-based apps and towards enabling Officers to get their jobs done easily online. Not sure if that's possible remotely (security restrictions and such), but better tech...

Unfortunately most of those jobs are service sector positions (retail, hospitality, etc.), as per the article. That's not really what FSWs are looking for, I would imagine.

It'd be good to have a Google of something like, "easiest countries to emigrate to in Europe". I found two websites now that mentioned Spain and Portugal as good options. Not sure if the below might help. :) https://wherecani.live/country/es https://wherecani.live/country/pt

A friend of mine moved there a few months ago and he really likes it so far. He's a software developer, already had an EU passport, and his company transferred him, so it was easy for him. But he says English is common and good. Might be worth a look.
