did they sent you any email stating you that you can apply for express entry . Only certain people per year will be allowed to apply under express entry and they will be noticed by and it will be clearly stated in your nomination letter whether you are allowed to apply paper based or express...

IF u r outland applicant it takes more than 6 months and if u r inland it takes 2-4 months. currently they are processing 16th draw from inland and 10-11 draw from outland .
