Any idea how long it takes for the Medical to be received? Mom had her Medical on august 2nd, online it shows only that medical has been requested but not received

You are not your spouse sponsor, she applied for PR she had her own Work permit... :)

We are so happy we feel that this process is going to fast, we applied April 25 , got AOR on May 3 They confirmed I was able to sponsor on June 26 and July 27 they requested Mom to go get her Medical exams...

At this time, all they have requested is Medical exams I was thinking about that too, they will request that for sure, criminal record check will probably the next request to come on our way...

I have asked the same question, and yes, the MEdial for tourist is different then the MEdical for PR... My mom is having her MEdical exam tomorrow here in Canada, Good luck!

My husband got his PR last December 2016, by that time his son was 21 and we were not able to include him in the PR application. Now my husband has a job and wants to start the sponsorship process for his son, any ideas what route to go? Provincial nominee program? Thanks in advance;)

Because they had a long weekend in between, it took 19 days to get it back in San Salvador, but is usually 10 days

I don't think they do that... If they don't believe you, they ask for more proof, or interview, but I have not heard of the Visa office calling your references to ask questions...
