I'm just curious, is it just that the applications which were sent through UPS only are getting diverted to the New Waterford location? or is it happening with other courier services as well? I sent it through UPS though. Please share your experiences.

To answer your second question, it doesn't matter if your job is in different field than your study. Having said that you may have to explain properly as to why your job is in a field which is different from your field of study. Still, I sincerely recommend you doing work in the the direction...

To be honest I will say concentrate on filing PR through EE, do research and fact finding, you don't need any immigration lawyer/consultant if you know the process correctly.You will do a big favour to yourself as you will save lot of money and time.

If you have 10 years work experience then I recommend you trying for PR directly under Express entry . If you nicely explain in the cover letter the mismatch between your field of study vs your work experience in the PR application then I believe you will not have any problem.

Yes the Masters PNP has become tough here in Ontatio. If PR is the sole purpose of studying in Canada I would suggest you do some good research about all the provinces which gives PNP option for international mastersgraduates. Secondly, you may want to choose a course which gives you a NOC...

Mine is decision in progress since 2 weeks. Every time I call OINP they say my application in in last stage and they ask me to check one key regularly. Any of u have similar experiences?

Thanks mrahman for the reply. I applied on Feb 5th, 2018 but still the status it is showing as submitted. It should have been in assessment stage by now. God knows whats going on :(
