Hi @AshR070591 - I just checked on the BLS website and it shows (Passport ready For Collection after OCI stamping) Also there is a shipment number below. So may be on its way.

That makes sense. I think it is averaging 20-25 days from acknowledgement for OCI to be issued. My AOR date is 14th Sep so I don't have high hopes that I will get mine before my 6th Oct travel date. Guess India travel will have to wait till Dec! Cheers, Nitin

Acknowledgment of Receipt... basically the date that we see on the OCI website.

From what I could decipher from the posts here in forum , it is taking 20-22 days after the AOR for the OCI to be printed. Takes some more time after that I guess to be dispatched. So I would actually give 4 weeks from AOR as the ball park time taken. Regards, NC

Fingers crossed at this point. Realistically speaking you still have a chance of making it. I am not sure if I even have an outside chance. Keep us posted on your progress though so that gives a ball park estimate for others on the processing timelines. Cheers, NC

I have a follow up question for the pandits here....now that I have the acknowledgment date on OCI website as 09/14 what is a realistic timeline to get it. I am traveling on 10/6 so wondering if I will get it by then! I have paid for the postal delivery option already but since I live in North...

I did a postal application. Received at Brampton office on 08/13. Date of Acknowledgement - 09/14. Not sure if it has got anything to do with BLS office. Can't be sure.

Hi Guys, Finally something good to report. I just checked the OCI portal and I see the date of acknowledgments is updated. Shows date as 09/14. Application status - Under-Process. So guess now it is just a waiting game. Cheers, NC

I applied on 13th August and my application is showing the same on BLS since then and the OCI website says no records found! So its way past 2 weeks. Not sure if I should be worried or following up and with whom. Regards, NC

At what point should I start to get worried. I am waiting since 13/09/2022 when the application started showing processing at consulate general and I still can’t see anything on the OCI website.
