Got my passport yesterday. Applied in person on May 12 (waited 6hrs in line!). Credit card was charged on May 25. Received the passport on May 30. Off on my trip next week!

Estimated passport delivery date is May 27th but my card hasn’t been charged and it’s a holiday Monday today. I’m not going to receive my passport this Friday right? lol

I'm planning to go to Service Canada tomorrow to apply for a passport for my newborn and I. We have a flight booked for end of May. Do I have to bring my baby with me or can I go by myself to submit the applications for both of us? Thanks!

Received my cert on Friday. 9 days after the ceremony (I’m in Calgary) and 4 days after status update on my account. Passport appointment is scheduled for May 20! Need to travel for work on June 6 :|

Had my oath today! Got a bit emotional because the journey is over! I’m a Canadian now! Next step, apply for passport and I’m off to Europe!

Dumb question: don’t you need your citizenship certificate before applying for a passport?

What the heck? I’m a July 2020 applicant. Wrote the test on Jan 31st and test status updated on Feb 3rd and still nothing until now.

you’re in Alberta and already taken the test? I’m still waiting for my turn. No updates since April 2021.

My ECAS status just changed from Complete to Decision Made. Does it mean everything is ok?

The statuses like "Card in production, card mailed, etc" can be known by calling CIC. They'll tell you what's going on. On ECAS you can't track the status of your first PR card. If you landed on May 13 then the waiting period started on that day :D they said 46 days on CIC's website but usually...
