EE profile gets locked at APR. They shouldn’t do anything nasty, I don’t think they can but cannot say with certainty. Stay positive and you can even inform your consultant that you no longer wish to continue availing their services.

In that case go ahead. At least you will have total control over your application. Just call CIC Ottawa and follow instructions to enter your application ID. The status message will let you know the present stage of application and if there is a pending ADR.
