You can do that... But you're actually by passing your representative. Sending your passport to your agent is the proper way but if you are brave enough to disregard your representative, go ahead :-)

Just found out that the tracking has been activated at around 5pm Pacific time. Congrats to those who received PPR and DM notice. For those who are still waiting, January 2017 is going to be a promising start of the year. :-) time line sent Dec 21, Dec 28 received by Ottawa, return mail...

Planning to have a vacation as well in March. :-)

PP sent on Dec 21, they received it on Dec 28. Tracking activation waiting.

Ottawa received it on 28... MyCIC now is closed, background completed, final decision approved.

Same here... Sent on 21st, but it was delivered on 28... Average is 10 days, but some people get it in 3 weeks. Some in 8 days. Hopefully you'll get it soon
