Hi October applicants, I did not receive any letter to link my application to MyCIC. But I did link it few months ago. And I also noticed the changes in the background check status. It's been 10 months now...

It's usually schedule 4a... but I think it is not a major issue...

Yes, everyone else is receiving reminder letter first before the MR. :-)

Some officers are nice, they will just send you a letter to send additional docs. But in most cases, they will return it you with a letter telling you what you should do and how to send it back to them.

I am not 100% sure, but I think it's the schedule 4a. Aside from the reminder letter that everyone had received, you'll receive a letter that specifically states what you need to submit. :-)

August 2 until August 5... Hehe let's wait...

Hi... I am not 100% sure, but we can only do upfront medical if we are inland applicant. All I know is medical results are valid for one year. If you received MR for PR you can use it for WP application, same as if you received MR for Work Permit first, you can use that for PR application...

Hi karlaplus, Are you sure that you have receive MR and did not do upfront medical check? Because it should be stated there that they have sent you MR before they received the results. :-) October applicant here. I am expecting MR tomorrow or 1st week of August.
