Yes you are right only if you are travelling with your spouse you don’t need it but what if you are travelling alone and your spouse is already in Canada.

Exactly @phaijalkhan that what I am thinking but my agent says you need to have job offer to prove to officer that you are here to establish yourself and not here for short visit which will make the travel discretionary. I am total confused. Btw what are you planning to travel?

What’s the update? Was your spouse able to enter Canada as I am in the same situation that my wife is already in Canada and I received OWP and planning to travel but my agent says I cannot travel without valid job offer. What are your views on this ? @Sad93

That’s what I thought that we can get exemption under family reunification and travel but that’s will not give us work permit on port of entry. So we need a valid job offer and I dont know what kind of jobs we can get which will satisfy the immigration officer.

Yes IRCC asked for it.

I am currently living in Australia. So IRCC asked for PCC form india and Australia both. I am also confused why would they ask for it.

On a side note I received my AoR on 7th feb 2021.
