But my question is why IRCC giving more priority for 2021 applicants when there are thousands of applications from 2020 has passed the six months processing period. Is not it unfair? Why can’t they just clear the back log first.

Yes I heard that too, but it is really unfair for us. Looks like I am the only person in this thread (Nov AOR 2020), whom has not receive the COPR yet :(

I am talking about CEC candidates not FSW. And one of my friends and his wife got the COPR in June 2021, but their ITA & AOR are from Jan 2021, they applied when the cut off mark is 453 or something (can’t remember exactly). Anyway they had to submit docs to prove their previous work experience...

Seems like 2021 applications are processing quicker than 2020. I saw there are threads opened here for last year June, July, Aug, etc too, sad to say that there are thousands of applicants have exceeded the 6 months processing period but no response yet from IRCC. I wonder how 2021 applicants...

There are thousands of applicants have passed the 6 months processing time period, but no COPR yet. My friend applied in Jan 2021 and got COPR in June 2021. This is not fair, IRCC or government should take necessary actions to enhance their services. Frustrating :(

Contacted IRCC today, my application only the medical is passed (bio provided prior). At least the eligibility is not passed. It is been 7 months now. I applied through CEC, my friends who applied through the same stream after and before me got their COPR. I am really stressed now, why the heck...

Can anyone please confirm how IRCC is informing about the PR confirmation (COPR). Sending a message to email/portal? Contacting you over the phone first then send the COPR?
