Update: receive the formal invitation by email today.

It really depends on the office mine took 5 weeks ( family of 3) from DM to oath invite ( status update). My friend took less than a month ( single applicant) we are all in edmonton same office, others have been waiting up to 6 months.... There is no sense with IRCC. Good luck !

Congrats! one of my friend ( March 2020) applicant also got oath date changed today for Mar 07. Looks like Edmonton is waking up now.

One month today and still waiting for the oath date. If you are lucky you may get the oath date in less than a month.

There is no DM's email, everything will turn green like you said except for oath ceremony.

Looks like the government of Canada is already spending more money than what they are making ( at least for year March 2021) according to the Ircc's financial report below. Stop receiving new applications until the backlog is cleared or the wait time is reduced ( which none of us or even Ircc...

The point of my comment was, they didn't scrap the test but they found a way to administrate the test to stay compliance with the citizenship act. They won't scrap the oath but they will find a second way ( first one is the online ceremony) to administrate the oath ( looks like they are already...

Most of them here said it was impossible to take the test online because of this or that, it was impossible to take the test and do the interview online while being outside Canada but guess what it all happening now. I will be happy to just sign a document if IRCC allow me to do it, doing that...
