Sorry I dont visit the forum quite often now. It took me about 3 weeks to get the PRTD from Karachi.

I landed on Dec 21. Card was approved and mailed on Feb 12. I never received the card. However, I updated address two weeks after the card was mailed out and after about 5 weeks from Feb 12, I got the card at the new updated address. I never had to fill a solemn declaration. Conclusion: once...

Applied for a PRTD on Feb 22 2018, received the PRTD on March 15 2018, in about 20 days. I was a newly landed immigrant, came back without the PR card.

As long as long as you’ve e mentioned it in explaination letter, you should be fine

Well maybe that’s what they are trying to determine, but we can only speculate. As long as you’re in compliance with the residency obligations, you shouldn’t be worried about it. It’s still within the processing time limits. I was told the waiting time varies from 6 to 12 weeks

Did you try to call the VAC? Also, did you save the form in any way (photocopy or a softcopy) in order to recheck it later on. Since you are still in their normal processing times, you shouldn't be too worried. Might as well throw an email to Abu Dhabi Visa office to see if they reply.

I did explai 3 unusual large deposits on one of my checkings account as that was gifted money. I explained those in the LoE and provided the transaction along with the dates/amounts/numbers from BoA which is very easy to retrieve if you are familiar with their online banking.
