Do I still need to provide biometrics?

Hi all, Hope you are well. I am currently doing spousal visa for canada immigration and it needs police clearance from the countries that i have lived. I lived in sharjah, uae and i am not sure how to get clearance from them as i am on canada currently. Help please. Thanks all.
