yep. i agree. if you are in Toronto, wouldn't recommend Hamilton/Kitchener. I live 35 minutes from the Hamilton office so it made sense instead of waiting for 3 hours at the Missi office.

yep. they are both Service Canada. Just that the 'passport office' is identified as a passport office (the board outside does read 'Service Canada').

np. fyi, when i say walk-in during opening hours for Hamilton/Kitchener, I mean it takes 15-20 mins, unlike other offices. Even if you go later in the day, you get done in about 60-90 minutes.

yeah so what i said is you don't need these appointments. If you're in the GTA, just go to Hamilton (Hamilton has 2, I prefer the Queenston Rd office) or Kitchener offices early in the day and you'll be out in no time. No need for an appointment. Last year I had my passport delivered in 12 days...

for those looking for quick passport deliveries, take the express pickup option. Costs 20 bucks more. Passport services are uber fast some times of the year, and ultra ducking slow other times.

depends on where you are and which pp office you're planning to go to. No need for an appointment. It took me 15 mins back in November and it took my wife an hour in February.

i applied same month (feb 23) and got my conditional approval in early November last year. Seems like luck of the draw. No other reason.

have you tried using a different email address to register? it doesn't have to be the same one you shared with IRCC.

you can wait. your conditional approval is valid for 24 months. my family has had conditional approval for nearly 4 months now and we recently scheduled an interview as my better half is finally fuc*ing getting her Canadian passport in the next week or so.

my wife had her oath today finally (nearly 23 months since application). the clerk was super nice. oath e-certificate was uploaded in 30 minutes.

yeah cuz it's Missi. They are fast. SCR is a joke.

the email contains general instructions to download the certificate. the timing of the email may have misled you to believe that your e-certificate has been uploaded. Always remember that the R in IRCC is Random.
