Any document that is not in english and french must be translated and certified. Since your documents are in english you dont need them attested, just make sure they have official government stamp.

the certified copy is to certify that it is original and not a fake/false document. Anyway its what is written on the website and to avoid refusal just give thm what they want, if you get approved without the certified copy then consider yourself lucky.
