I was the same as you. I agree with the file 3000 being a certain level (because they said that to me too, saying I'd have to wait on hold for another agent who was qualified to look into my application) In total I had to wait around 6 weeks for my passport. My application status did not change...

I finally got my passport today! Applied: March 5th Delivered: April 18th

I got an update this morning on the tracker, it has been printed & shipped. So I reckon by Friday I should have it (fingers crossed) lol

Does anybody know what time roughly the application status gets updated? I applied for my passport on March 5 and its still not been mailed out

Managed to call the passport line today, they said passports had been printed but not picked up by canada post yet. We are now on the 26th business day since applying.

You are totally right, when I rang yesterday I had 452 people in front of me, took me 2 hours to get through. Then they said they couldn't help me because of it being a new passport application and that they'd put me on hold for someone who could. Waited another half an hour before giving up...

I just spent 2 hours on hold to service canada (passport line ), only to get told they can't help me and forwarded me to another line for another 30 minutes, then I hung up.

Wow! Crazy stuff! I haven't rang them yet, as I just wanted for it to exceed one month (given it was Easter too, figured it would be slightly delayed) I will keep you posted! Has your online tracker changed at all?

I applied in person on March 5th, still not anything but "we've received your application and our processing it" fingers crossed that changes this week. Anybody else apply around this time?

Does anybody have a timeline for standard processing 20 days? I sent our application off on March 5th (not quite 20 business days yet) but are passports processing on time or a little bit past?

We did the same as you, just sent one email with the oaths for both family members and put the email addresses for the e-certificate application number etc

Yes, I wasn't expecting ours to be on there, it will definitely come. It may even show up in your account tomorrow, as sometimes the system takes a while for it to be accessed!
