If you are residing in Canada you can apply for renewal anytime. Even if your PR card is expired you are not denied of any benefits or employment, etc...The PR card expires but the PR status of the person doesn't expire. It's always better to apply for PR renewal once you have compketed a month...

When did you send the missing document & when was it received?

My wife's & kid's application was in one packet. Kid's application was returned as it was missing a question. We sent it back on Oct-27. I guess they will be processing it together, that might be the reason for delay. But when I asked them over the call, they said this should not be the case...

Still in decision made, it's the same since Sep-15. We are calling every week, we get a standard reply "please wait". we are also sending web enquiry every week. Some cases are worked upon like a government process of a developing country.!!

Wrong - You can leave Australia. Try not to convince yourself. You need to choose either Canada or Australia and in future when you enter Canada, border officials will interview & they catch false stories. Also your willingness not to enter Canada will go against you.

I login to the account couple of times a day. You don't get a notification of any update. It's just that you need to keep checking you account. The current status field would change if there's a ghost update. Also the next day there might be an update on your ecas.

Another ghost update but when went inside, it says PR card approved & mailed today.....At last... My wife's PR card is till in Decision Made status since Sep-15..!!!

That's standard. My wife's in the status since Sep-15. Hope you get your's soon.
