Unemployed past 10 years+. What's shall i write on the vistors visa "employment" section?

Won't validate unless I write something like "Year" to "year", where i lived and such. Should i just put 2009-2019, N/A everywhere, including city and "united states" and the one state i lived in?

Extending visa past 6 months requires medical exam?

Sent off a spousal permanent residence application. Need to renew my visa very soon. No time to get an exam. Was planning just to get my visitors visa application extended one last time for a full year in order to deal with processing time and potential delays. What should I do? I believe i can...

Can't prooceed unless i add a check box where it doesn't apply to me

The first part being "If you are found ineligible to sponsor, ..." My sponsor is the one filling this out for me (The principal application). The language seems to suggest that this section is intended for people who haven't qualified. This is the first time we are filling out and filing these.

Can't prooceed unless i add a check box where it doesn't apply to me

On imm1344e, "application to sponsor, sponsorship agreement and undertaking" "If you are found ineligible to sponsor, indicate whether or not you want to:" "*Withdraw your sponsorship application. All processing fees less $75 will be refunded." or "*Proceed with the application for permanent...

Is it risky to ask for a year long visitors visa extension? Spousal sponsorships take that long.

The peace of mind your answer gives is invaluable. We have a lot of the basics covered. I have a bank card connect to his account. Lease shouldn't be a problem since we live on his fathers property. The tax filing error is being amended. But we can only hope that is acceptable. And as luck would...

Filling out common-law sponsorship checklist. How do I send photos electronically?

For example, i need to send photos with "Details written on the back". I thought about printing photos and scanning them. But the same issue arises in having 2 separate files for 1 photo. Whats the proper way to send a photo digitally, while also giving informative context to each photo? Should...

Is it risky to ask for a year long visitors visa extension? Spousal sponsorships take that long.

Back story: I've applied for 6 visa with 6 month long extensions. Nearly 3 years in total (I've come to realize risky this is!) My status expires next month. Now that we've fully committed to staying together, he wants to sponsor me for PR status. We plan to put forward the spousal...

Possibly on record for not being "Common law", despite actually being so for 3 years

Hey, it turns out he hasn't listed me as common law on tax returns because the check box refused to let him proceed without a "SIN" number. I don't have one.. The severity of the error didn't really register to either of us,but now it's a new issue! Will they take this fact into account? How...

Permanant residence spousal sponsor: Personal history. I've been unemployed for the past 10 years...

On the eimm5669e.pdf question 6 it says: "Personal history. Provide the details of your personal history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years, whichever is most recent. Possibly on record for not being "Common law", despite actually being so for 3 years

Would you know such an order is able to be fought? How likely it is to win against it? Being forced away from my spouse and put into a situation where im homeless, unless my spouse shells out for rent while i live in the USA.. it would be a dire situation worth fighting tooth and nail to...

Possibly on record for not being "Common law", despite actually being so for 3 years

Let our guard down and dragged feet too much. Really bad, i guess. Anyhow, i need to reapply for visa soon due to status running out in Feb. We will try and send the sponsorship/PR application as quickly as possible after. Would you know what i should do should the visa renewal get rejected...

Possibly on record for not being "Common law", despite actually being so for 3 years

Yes, that's what we did and this has me extremely anxious and afraid. My time to apply for another visa is coming up and im really worried that they'll think ive been lying

Possibly on record for not being "Common law", despite actually being so for 3 years

Can't say yet. Will give an answer later as he is at work right now. I will create another thread and ask if marriage makes this process any easier. If there was any oversights by us in our absent mindedness that leads to our common law not being so, will a marriage solve this? It's not...

Possibly on record for not being "Common law", despite actually being so for 3 years

Odd situation. I'm from usa. Came to canada on a visitor and extended each visa by 6 moths for 3 years. Our relationship has developed and we do not wish to be parted (We're a gay couple). So we're starting a sponsorship and path to PR for me. But we are mostly closest from his mother...
