Saw few people posting on this forum had success in getting the Visa stamped directly at Consulate in a single day and there are few for whom the consulate didn't allow that.

I have also applied under ICT. Once the decision is made , can we go in person to New York to get the Visa stamped on Passport on the same day , instead of sending the passport over mail and wait for 10-15days?
