I don’t think you can be exempt. You can write to IRCC to ask to extend your deadline, this one they will probably allow due to circumstances, but I doubt they will exempt documents request.

I don’t think so, I read on their website that if you change your SIN, you need to submit taxes with new SIN and add a note that your SIN was changed. I think maybe after that you will be able to login to your profile with new SIN.
