You need to inform IRCC through webform. You need to attach birth certificate copy and maybe other documents (like application form update). It’s better to call IRCC to clarify.

Don't raise your hopes to high. I am sure all this new open work permit policy will come to life in a several months. If I were you I would prepare new WP application.

I have this feeling too. Because what I see now: after AOR ppl get invitation to medical and DM pretty soon (it take few months in general for them).
