True that. I remember when they started the online applications back in Dec 2020 it was a pilot that IRCC did and most of people selected to apply online got theirs in 4-5 months. I believe that pushed a lot of people to apply online i.e. people from Jan, Feb onwards and then it became a trend...

No, I didn't. I thought they may be doing some pilot and picked random applications to bring their KPIs under threshold etc. I got my AOR in the same time as everyone about 3 months after submitting my application.

I just received my invite email.

I am invited for Feb 23 ceremony but no email yet. You are right we will have to wait for a week to receive the invite email.

DL should be fine. Are you in BC? I am in Vancouver the DL # is top right corner of the card.

I don't have experience in this but I also started filling out the application. I can answer only for #3: if you only had PR and if you have not been in possession of Canadian passport in the past or refugee travel document (given for travel) etc. then the answer should be no.

Ofcourse it is. With Online access you get a lot of risk for online hacking/information leaking. The online application was anyways a trial that they applied and even today they only allow single applicants with simpler applications to apply online. So, they might be working on the background...

IRCC says within 4 months.
