Hi, I get my canadian work permit renewed each year. my permanent residency is still in process. Can I go to Buffalo via car from Niagara and then come back to Canada by showing them my passport and work permit? Please note, that I do not have a canadian visa on my passport ... it has expired...

Visa expired, been here for a while, work permit gets continuously renewed each year as permanent resident application is still in process and is taking longer than usual due to certain complications. but will try for a TRV from within canada then.

Hi Guys, I have a work permit and it say's at the bottom - THIS DOES NOT AUTHORIZE RE-ENTRY. How would one be able to leave the country and re-enter if this is the only legal piece of canadian document we have on hand? Any experience /advise would be appreciated! Thanks.
