Hi everyone, I haven't posted in quite some time. My medicals expire this month. I have applied through FSW and I am inland. Is it better for me to proactively get remedicals done or to wait until I hear back from IRCC about it?

Same here. FSW-inland AOR 3rd October. It appears they've completely skipped applications in 2020 and moved on to those in 2021. I've been seeing a lot of fsw inland in 2021 getting their COPR too. And I see CEC folks from 2020 still stuck with eligibility passed. There's no way to know when...

No worries! You can go to this website and read through the process. It takes about 15 minutes and you can make a request for $5 CAD. https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en

If you're in Canada you can just request it using atip from their website. If you're outside of Canada then you can use a service like getgcms or gcms buddy

I was already in Canada when I received a job offer and applied for a PR. I qualified for FSW in July and applied in October. As I applied for an open work permit and I was able to get it in about 3 months pre-covid. I'm unsure of the time taken for closed work permits and about the process but...

No, the most feasible option is to apply for a temporary work permit through your employer. I am FSW-inland with AOR-October 3rd already working in Canada and still haven't had my application processed. All left to do is to hope they look into our applications quickly.

Saw someone on FB with Jan, 2021 aor get their FSW inland get approved. Within 52 days.
