Yes sorry i got the terms wrong, she is out of status and we applied inland, as the email we got last week, we were told to get the police check for mexico which we are almost ready to mail to mexico. The email also noted that she is out of status but also says that we can apply for an open work...

Can someone clarify the steps for getting the Mexican documents (wedding cert, birth cert, medical and police check) translated.. They are all original copies.. Do they have to be legalized by city hall once they are translated and notarized?

My wife is currently getting the proper documents notarized and translated.. She's from Mexico city but we married in Quintana roo.. Does she have to go to Quintana to have the wedding cert. legalized? Thanks!
