You need to have a PGWP approval letter at least in order to apply for a new TRV.

Processing times pre PPR are terrible and after sending passport and receiving it back are even worse

Yeah I had 2 ghost updates back to back in a week after eligibility review started. Still no updates after that. Its either nothing, or just an agent going through our applications as far as I have read.

Mashallah great! In Sha Allah you will just keep us in the loop :) Its for myself. Its faster to get a TRV within Canada anyways so just going for it as a Plan-B.
