Any temporary worker in Quebec, but applying for Express Entry, join here.

Again, you have to prove your intent to leave Quebec. Claiming these points is irrelevant, what matters is having a LMIA-based closed WP in Quebec - this goes against the intent. Ask your employer to write you a letter that you will be moved out of Quebec after your PR, get a job offer outside...

Hard to see as this passes as intention to leave Quebec unless your employer is willing to give you a job in rest of Canada

I think last time I applied (a few months ago after extending my WP) I also waited 10 days... So maybe you just got unlucky

Yes, you can do a walk-in and get SIN instantly. I applied online, I got new SIN in 2 days. Health insurance depends on your province. In Quebec you can get a new RAMQ card online as well.

No, you can link it now through GCkey. Some people get updates before the card is sent (approx. 10-20 days after eCoPR), some don't.

You can also search "intent to leave Quebec" on this forum and you'll find plenty of examples

Currently on a work permit in Quebec, want to apply for PR

It's probably not sufficient. Your friend needs to show the intent to leave Quebec. Having a lease in another province is a start. But your friend needs to show real intent: finding a job, having utility bills, terminating old job and lease in Quebec etc. A lot also depends on the visa officer.

There is no link in the e-mail. It just says it's available for download on the PR portal. It appears below the boxes with address and photos.

Yes. But my eligibility still said "in progress" etc and nothing said "approved". Actually, it's still not updated. I think it's a hit or miss and does not really matter. Anyway, based on your timeline you should receive your eCoPR soon.

I dunno. That's what my eCoPR shows: the validity date starts with the same date as on GCkey (12th june) but the PR status is the date I received the eCoPR and the golden email (29th july). Maybe your case is different. In any case you will know the exact date when you get your eCoPR.

No. And it still does not say approved now even though I have eCoPR. I don't know what you mean by "landed", but the date you receive the PR status is the date of eCoPR, that's explicitly written on my document at least

For inland applicants the CoPR date in gckey is not the data of landing - it will be the date you receive the eCoPR. In my case the CoPR date is something like 12th June but I was virtually landed on 29th July.
