Actually, your case is progressing pretty fast, compared to 80% of June applicants. Very few have got to Eligibility completed phase, let alone background completed. Is the PA/your landing address is GTA, Ontario or some other city/province?

Strongly suggesting you to involve your mp. Seems ur application is all done and forgotten? I'm sure it's not the case, but perhaps MP's office might be able to nudge the officer.

congrats, finally june applications seems to be progressing now. you should quickly send webform to withdraw you TRV application. request for refund as well. btw, does the applicant have any prior travel history?

100% agreed! The suggested purpose of TRV applicants, who have already applied for Spousal PR, was to unite families before the PR application is processed. It is understood that the applicant is applying to enter Canada and live with their family. And the only venue they have given is TRV. But...

Yes job letter and financial self sufficiency makes a detrimental impact. In your case, it seems to over ride the AOR, SA and Eligibility requirement on Spousal PR as well. Have you ordered gcms notes, I wonder if those requirements are all completed in the background?
