That's strange. If you check link as of today, they (should) charge $60 for out-of-province application whereas for within Province its $40, not sure if it includes anything "value-added" services or stuff: vas_canada.pdf (blsindia-canada.com)

Yes, it happened to me too. Soon, you'll see the status changed from old to new in a few days once they acknowledge the same and send it to CGI, Toronto. I just happen to call them. It took two weeks to update online on BLS Tracker after I sent documents.

Its just a fact we'd need to deal with for some time unless both governments improve the relations AND BLS also start making some profits - which they are already via asking folks to take couriers (postal). Something is not right with BLS i feel, it could be deliberate thing or non-accountable...

Some reason has to be given if its on inefficiency part, but maybe genuine too!

Probably, they would have been given the same option: wait to get an appointment for months or better send us via courier- use our own Purolator with BLS taking care of shipping labels and so.
