Canadian Embassy is in Makati.. RCBC building.. Along ayala avenue.. But i must warn you na sa Ayala may Loading and unloading area.. so pag bumaba kayo sa unloading area, kailangan nyo pa mag-underpass ng 2 bago makarating ng RCBC.. Unless mag-taxi kayo then sa RCBC building mismo kayo bababa...

I am now back in the Philippines. I did send a note to the embassy asking about the status. All I got was a reply that there is no follow-up unless there is an update in my address, marital status, etc.

Wow! that was fast. I filed Dec 2004 and received my acknowledgment march 2005.. however, i am still waiting for the result. I have been to Canada 3x on a tourist visa but that was after I submitted my application. Why is it taking so long? :-(

I am into the IT profession and it's not part of the new list, though my current role/function is of a supervisor which is in the new list. It just bothers me that it's more than 5 years of waiting. I guess, i'll just update my records specially with me entering Canada (on a tourist visa)...
