New CEC - Jan 2013 Applications

Nothing has started? It is starting to really piss me off. I was so hoping things would go well for you thinking that it would mean something hopeful for me as well. Well, it looks like we are going to be waiting longer than we all anticipated.

New CEC - Jan 2013 Applications

Whoever has the access to the tracker will update it for you. Medical Request will come soon. Sometimes it takes a couple of days. Some other time it could take a couple of weeks. But that's pretty uncommon I believe. You are all set as long as you pay RPRF and there is nothing wrong with your...

New CEC - Jan 2013 Applications

Was the email sent in the morning? I may have to settle for being permanently paranoid and stressed until God knows when.

New CEC - Jan 2013 Applications

Congrats Caribou! and all the other who have received MR, RPRF, etc. I am assuming most receive those in the morning time. If that's mostly likely, I just need to tense up in the morning and be in a give-up mode for the rest of that day. Better that way than being neurotic all day. Ugh..this...

Congrats! It took you about nine months to get PR since AOR. That's super.

New CEC - Jan 2013 Applications

Same here, it's not like I can send an updated reference letter if they requested it. (I have quit that job a long time ago and it is highly not likely they would bother doing anything for me, let alone typing up a more detailed job letter) So basically, nothing much I could do even if I saw...

New CEC - Jan 2013 Applications

Nothing? Jesus. I was hoping that you would get something positive from your GCMS notes. I myself do not even want to order them now. I am also in a bit of tight situation myself as probably many other out there. I'd have to go back to my home country by the end of Feb next year. No other...

New CEC - Jan 2013 Applications

Oh what I meant by a closure was something or anything almost or even kind of definitive whether it be a rejection or MR. Yes it does surely feel a bit better to know that there are sooooooooooo many others waiting as me, let alone the ones that have waited even longer than most of us. I feel...

New CEC - Jan 2013 Applications

exactly same as my current state. I don't think I'll hear from CIC this month whether it is a rejection or MR. I just want to know either way soon so I can move on. Some sort of closure would be nice. But then, I am sure there are lots of people feeling this way.

Glad to see someone from my home country getting MR finally. I hope it goes well for both you and your wife. All the best. I am sure you will soon receive the rest shortly here as it seems to be the pattern.

Medicals in Montreal w/ Dr. Dubois

A little off the topic and none of my business really, but OP is from Ontario I believe and has a full intention of residing in Ontario. I hope you are also prepared to prove to CIC that you do not intend to reside in quebec, but elsewhere. CIC will probably question your intentions and request...

    re-apply CEC

90 days long wait is certainly not usual for AOR judging by the current trend I have seen. They will assess your file based on how complete your application is according to the document checklist and any other standards they have instructed that you meet. It is possible that they might have...

    After Medicals..

I am in the exact situation as you. I am moving constantly as well. All you can do is you can email and let them know whenever you can with the effective date. Changing address option on E-cas takes a few weeks to be updated. As far as my understanding goes, they send rprf, biodata form and PPR...

    August 2012 PR Applications

In his case, it doesn't seem like CIC made a mistake. He couldn't provide a reference letter because his employer denied. He submitted it after the decision was made and they re-opened his file it sounds like from what i read in his post.

Need some advise on common in law...

At least in Canada, my understanding and experience are that you both need to be physically present in order to declare your common law relationship with her and have it signed by the commissioner for oaths.
