can anyone please help me what is the conveneint way to take money from UAE to canada. i am planning to leave in first week of dec and want to take money (70K canadian dollars) with me as well.

Application sent. 5th July Email rec for passport and police clearance. 10th Sep Doc sent. 24 Sep. Visa received. 17 Oct. Validity till 2015 . No condition on dates.

i have exactly the same time. But in my case I sent them police clearance and passport on 23 sep and still waiting. By the way I did a mistake that did not send airway bill so have to go there In person Hoping to hear soon as wait is really killing me

Congrats dude. Well I also recieved passport and police clearance req on Sep 10 and sent it by 24th Sep but still no news. Do you think I should go there myself ?

Well I have already sent them all original required documents. Wish I have gone myself but I will take there email letter and will tell them that I have sent them doc and want to know the status. Do you think it will help?

Though I have already mailed them PC however I am thinking to visit abu dhabi embassy next week to check what's going on Do you think its good idea?

Did you provide your PC also on the same day?

Well my mail said that if you want to personally come and put your documents in drop box ;) They did not mention to stay in queue or pick at afternoon etc

Hi. But when they request for PC and passport they mentioned to send it through mail. When they explicitly say that to come and pick passport later then usually it happens. Did anyone had PC request and got visa the same day? As I think background checks takes sometime.

i had similar situation. i sent my document PCC Sep 24th 2012 and waiting. no response after that :(

yes i recieved passport and police clearnce request on 10th sep. passport is alredy with them. i send police clearance on 24th Sep and still waiting. i sent my document thru UPS any update guys.
