I just realized the COPR will be posted to his address in the UK...... is there any way we could have them send it to him at my address in Canada, do you think? Would sure be nice if he could land while he’s here visiting, then go back to wrap things up in Scotland...

Thank you @Hurlabrick! Any idea how long after DM the COPR is sent? We are planning to travel back to the UK to wrap things up there end of Dec/early Jan (no tix booked yet) but wondering if it might take longer than that to have everything sorted and finalized.

Does everyone have PPR? I mean to mail their passport away to be stamped? My husband is a British citizen, and he is currently here in Canada with me visiting. I’ve heard that not everyone is asked to send their passport in the mail...is this accurate?

Our ECAS updated to DM this morning! We used an immigration consultant as our representative (big waste of money imo), so we will need to wait til Monday to have them forward any email to us with more details. Soooooooo excited!!!

Take a look at the London Visa Office thread in the forum. I’ve found that the timelines are largely visa office specific and you’ll get a better idea there. :o)

This is a thread for Outland London Visa Office applications, so I assumed we were all with LVO... My timeline is in my signature. Application submitted to Mississauga Jan 26, sent to LVO May 26.

Hi! We are Jan 26 applicants. We got tired of waiting too (BGC hasn't started yet, transferred to LVO near the end of May) so my husband came in August on a six month visit. Hopefully our process will be complete by then! His is a simple straightforward case as well... No kids or siblings and...

We’ve received nothing at all since May when they sent the app to LVO. My understanding is they are working through Aug-Oct 2017 applications at LVO, so a little longer to wait still.

We submitted our application end of Jan 2018 (Outland) and our file was sent to LVO end of May. We haven’t heard anything about our BGC staring yet. Not sure what the timeline is on when they get it started.... ‍♀️
