I've been RBVO for 3 months (104 days). Sigh. Getting very concerned since it'll be a year since my IELTS Results on the 13th August (which kind of puts it into perspective how slow this process is). If I'm still RBVO then, will I have to redo the IELTS since they're only valid for a year?

My suggestion would be to make and highlight corrections to the pages in your original application and Fax them straight to the VO with an explanation cover letter with your Name, DOB and UCI as soon as possible. It's a small mistake and probably happened because people in different departments...

2175 used to be counted under the expedited IT program I think. Also A and B are the skill types, A jobs are considered higher skill than B (it's to do with the second number in the NOC code, 1 = A, 2 = B). I doubt there's much in it but I would lean towards 2175 for those reasons myself.

Fair point, but civil servants are notoriously difficult to fire, so I expect the process will probably stay they same rather than get much slower. With the PER thing it appeared as if they were trying to optimize things more but it certainly doesn't seem much faster.

It's damned ridiculous. Why so slow? If they need more staff to deal with the workload they should hire more staff. Simple as that. I've been paying Canadian Taxes for almost 2 years now, it's the least they could do :P

Same! Mine changed to Received_by Visa Office today. Interesting there's the underscore which you can only see if you copy and paste. However the details page still says the same thing. No mention of the date it was received or anything like that.
