Finally just got my GIC Certificare :D Guys if u dont receive notification in ur yahoo or gmail or whatever id, make sure u check directly in the scotiabank id because i got mail directly there. Will file VISA on monday. All the best guys. Dont worry, Keep on checking with scotiabank :)

I called the intermediary bank yestarday ie SBI in Toronto. They said that they have transferred the money in Scotiabank on 12th nov and yesterday i got an email saying funds are not yet received. I called scotiabank, one lady told me that we have received the money on 12th nov itself. What Crap!

I meant that is it ok if i file my visa after 1st dec ie the deadline? Can i file with with the TT receipt of bank for GIC, will there be any risk?

Also wanted to ask u that .. My visa deadline is 1st dec. If i apply with the bank tt receipt instead of Gic certificate, will that be a prob? And if i file after 1st dec, is there any risk?

I called them. They told that they have not received. They said that if ur bank has trasferred it properly, there might be problem with the intermediary bank.

Hello, I had transferred 10,100 Cad for gic on 8th nov and still have not received the certificate. Scotiabank notified that they haven't received the payment yet. Visa deadline is 1st dec. Please help
