I dont think there will be any problem. Even my university is in winnipeg but I will initially go to toronto to visit my sister. Just tell the immigration officer that u are visiting your family only for few days. Book your ticket from calgary to ottawa before reaching calgary.

My friend was in same situation. He went to Red river college (winnipeg) Anyhow he arranged the money to pay the fees but I think you should visit some other banks also. Go to axis bank, they might give you loan. And the ranking of institution can be found on www.webometrics.com

guelph's fees is around $20000/year and Manitoba's fee is around $11000(for 2 years). Share your profile please .

Yes I got acceptance on 1st october. But I am going to attend university of manitona because of less fees as compared to univ of guelph
